GNARLS BARKLEY "The Odd Couple".

I like this sophomore effort from the dynamic duo of Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo Green, the, one and only, Soul Machine. The Odd Couple is heavily inspired by 1960s Philadelphia & Baltimore soul. It’s better and more interesting than their 2006 debut, St. Elsewhere, but not as quite as eclectic. I don’t think it will sell as well, although I think it is an artistic improvement over its predecessor. Then again, what else would you expect from these two immensely talented and marvelously creative music veterans.
